Main Portals

Desktop

The Desktop groups information into one main page of information. This main page groups useful cross-study information into several Desktop widgets. Additional information can be accessed by utilizing the hamburger menu in the top left corner of the page. This Navigation Menu is where information can be accessed regarding: My Tools, My Studies and Managers. 

Study Homepage

The Study Homepage provides a centralized means of navigation through the use of customizable Study Homepage widgets. These provide a means for organizing and reviewing information about a study quickly. Using the Navigation Menu in the top, left corner of the page, the user has quick access to each Manager as well as further Navigation options. 

Role Functionality 

Role Selection

The option to combine roles so that the user does not have to switch roles to perform different types of tasks. This feature can be disabled and enabled through the Profile page.

Switching Roles

When Role Selection is enabled, roles are now selected from the green ‘Actions’ menu as described on the switching roles help page.

Study Functionality 

Managers

The Managers provide many features to improve data reporting, tracking, and analyzation through an interactive, dynamic display. Features include drag and drop functionality, detailed progress bars, and ways to search and filter data.

Casebook

The Casebook provides a folder and file hierarchy navigation structure, the Casebook also includes features such as configurable Pinned Questions, the ability to pin frequently viewed metadata status icons to the forms, and the ability to view similar forms.

Widgets

As noted in previous sections, the Desktop and Study Homepage support the use of widgets to bring data related to a trial or workgroup into one central location for easy access and usability. While Desktop widgets are standardized and always present when they contain data, the Study Homepage widgets are configurable.
