Summary
The Deactivate email template is used to inform study participants that a study subject has been deactivated/derandomized.

Only the portions of the email marked in blue can be easily modified. If modifying other portions of the email template, view the page related to customizing email templates.
Note: This email template can only be configured for a study through the Email Notifications feature. At this time custom context keys cannot be added to the template.
Context Keys
Context Keys are used to access data from the system. Examples of their use can be seen in the following template. These context keys can also be added to the email template or relocated within the template.
Study Related Keys
- $!{applicationName} – Study name
Subject Related Keys
- $record.getName() – Subject’s ID and Initials
- $location – The name of the site at which the deactivated subject is located
