Summary

This article covers the contents of the site metrics report and how to export the report.

The Site Metrics Report displays metrics on a site’s performance within EDC. The Site Metrics Report will report on sites that have been linked to EDC sites and show their average performance across all studies the site has participated in.


Note: If a site is linked to an EDC site and has not started data entry on the study yet, the Site Metrics counts that site in the average as 0 for all metrics.


Note: In 4th quarter 2020, Site Number Field’s was renamed to Global Site Identifier Field if not already configured to a different label



When the Site Metrics Report is accessed the Site Metrics screen will appear with no results as Run Report has to be selected to generate the report data.

Filter options can be selected to filter the report results. The filter options are:

  • From the Site Form:
    • Global Site IdentifierSite NameCountryCity
    • PI Name: Principal Investigators assigned to sites in studies
  • Studies Participating In: Ongoing studies in which the site is participating
  • Studies Completed: Studies in which the site participated that are currently marked “Closed”


The Site Metrics results will appear with the following columns:

  • Global Site Identifier
  • Site Name
  • Country
  • Average Visit to Data Entry (Days)
  • Average Time for Query Response (Days)
  • Average Time for Reopened Query to Answered (Days)
  • Average Form Created to Data Entry (Days)
  • Average Form Frozen to Signed (Days)


Exports

By clicking the options Excel, CSV, or PDF in the Actions menu, the system will provide an export of the Site Metrics table. The export will also contain an Export Summary table to provide details of the report, such as the requesting user, their role, the study chosen, and the generation and start times of the report export.
Before exporting as a PDF, configure your export by following the instructions for PDF Configuration.
