Summary
This article covers how to customize the PDF layout for larger reports.
Table of Contents
Larger reports offer the ability to customize the PDF layout to avoid a large amount of data crowded onto a single table. Users can choose the amount of tables and what appears on each table.
Access PDF Configuration
The PDF Configuration tool can be access by clicking the “PDF Configuration” action found in the Actions Menu, while on the report you plan to export to PDF.
Number of Tables
The Number of Tables field is a dropdown select field. The amount of individual tables available is determined by how many fields are on the original form/table containing the data.
Distribution of Data
Each data point has a related dropdown select field. These fields are utilized to assign a table number to each data point. To appear on a report, a table must have at least one data point assigned.
Omit a Data Point
To omit a data point from any table, the related dropdown select field should be set to “Ignore”. This field will not appear on the report.
Repeat a Data Point
To repeat a data point in every table (typically for labeling purposes), the related dropdown select field should be set to “Repeat”.
