This article covers adding, editing, and importing vendor personnel.

The Vendor Personnel page allows the ability to define the vendor personnel who will be working on the study. Also available is the option to note the personnel‘s role and their study participation start/stop dates. Personnel assigned a role will appear on the Vendor Personnel screen.

 

Add Vendor Personnel

On the Vendor Personnel form select the Action “Add Study Vendor Personnel”. The Add Vendor Personnel dialog will appear with all personnel associated with the vendor that have not yet been added to the study. If all vendor personnel have been added to the study, the option to Add New Vendor Personnel action will appear.


The Role field dialog will populate with the roles defined for each personnel on their initial Add Personnel Form. Only roles that are defined on the Edit Study form will appear in the role option.
To remove a role, select the X by the role name. If vendor personnel are not participating in a study, remove all the roles and leave the role field blank.
By selecting Clear All on the dialog, all roles populated based on the personnel’s record will be removed.
Select the date the personnel started on the study.
Select Save to add the personnel to the vendor.

 

To add new vendor personnel record that does not currently have a personnel record or has an existing personnel record to which you do not have access, select the Add New Personnel button and follow the instructions below for Add New Vendor Personnel.

 

 

Add New Vendor Personnel

If all vendor personnel records have been added to the vendor, the option to add new vendor personnel will be present in the Actions Menu.

 

 

Complete the First Name, Last Name, and Email Address fields and click the Add button.

The name and email address will be compared to existing personnel records in the Personnel Manager. If a match is detected, the existing record will be selected as the personnel added to the vendor. If a match is not detected, a new personnel record will be created to be completed when convenient.

 

Edit Vendor Personnel

Vendor personnel information can be updated on the Vendor Personnel screen.

Roles

Roles can be updated by adding or removing roles for the vendor personnel.

Start Date

The Start Date collected in the Add Vendor to Study or Add Personnel dialog will display for each personnel. The Start Date field can be updated if needed.

Stop Date

When a vendor personnel is no longer a part of a study, the Stop Date can be noted by selecting the appropriate date in the calendar.

Delete

To delete a vendor personnel, select the Delete Icon.

A confirmation dialog will appear requesting confirmation of the requested deletion. To complete the deletion request, select OK and the personnel row will not appear for Vendor Personnel. Selecting Cancel will prompt no action to be taken.
