Summary

This article covers how to access a job package and the contents of the package.

Table of Contents

The results of a job execution are combined into a job package. A link to this job package can be shared through job email notifications if the email template is configured to do so. The owning Job Scheduler can also access the package through the Job Log. Job Packages expire 30 days after job execution and are no longer accessible after that point.

Access Job Package

Email templates can be configured to contain a link to the job package. The workflow for accessing the package differs slightly based on whether or not the recipient is specified as an internal or external user.

Those specified as internal users in the Recipient Settings will need to log in before accessing the job package.

  1. After receiving the email notification about the job’s completion, click the link provided in the email.
  2. Enter your username and password when prompted.
  3. On the Download Screen, click the Download Button.

The package will download through the browser.

Those specified as external users in the Recipient Settings will not need to log in before accessing the job package.

  1. After receiving the email notification about the job’s completion, click the link provided in the email.

The package will download through the browser.

Access Package through Job Log

Job Schedulers can download job packages for jobs that they own in the Job Log.

  1. Access the appropriate job’s log.
  2. Click the ‘Download Package’ link for any job execution.

Note: Job Packages expire after 30 days and are no longer accessible after that point.

Job Package Contents

The job package contains one folder per task. The task folder name contains the name of the task, study name, site name and output type.

Within each folder is a zip file with the task contents as well as a text file named “SchedulerTask.”

Task Zip File

The task zip file contains the contents of the task execution as configured for the job and study.

  • Export Zip File – Exported data in the file format of the export
  • Import Zip File – Import log reporting on the success or failure of the import
  • Report Zip File – Report in the file format specified during job configuration
  • Custom Zip File – Depends on the customized job

SchedulerTask File

The ‘SchedulerTask’ file reports on the success or failure of the task execution. The file also contains the task execution time in UTC.
