Welcome to the Trial Manager version 2.5.0!

Updates in this 2.5.x Release

This section describes what’s changed in the most recent patch releases of Trial Manager after 2.5.0. We list the most recent patch first.

New Features and Improvements


11136: Imported from CSV file sites are not sorted

When importing sites from a CSV file, the sites are sorted in alphabetical order.

11137: When java file is published the name of file should be removed from the path.

In order to improve the readability of the publish message, the file name has been removed from the path.

11278: Alert user when removal of users could occur

The Delete Confirmation screen displays the sites and corresponding users that will be affected by role deletion.

Corrections

9985: Failover functionality when creating all sites forms

The All Sites Tools will be created for all clusters even when a cluster is non-responsive.

10727: Make description on setup page update the workgroup

The workgroup description is updated on all clusters when the Setup > Description field is added or modified. The workgroup description is consistent across the Enterprise Manager and on the Edit Organization page.

11133: Click OS error when you click on some forms if Setup form is not saved

Error checking was put in place for instances where a Setup form is not saved. Instead of receiving an error, the user is no longer able to commit a file (DataArchitect or other) without the Setup form being saved.

12059: Testing Manager has inaccurate results / Set base version

The Testing Manager’s View Changes functionality now filters correctly when comparing versions.

13258: Application and tools are not restored automatically if trial name is erased and then restored.

Error checking was instituted to prevent inconsistencies when deleting and restoring records in Trial Manager. It is no longer possible to save the Setup form with a blank Protocol field.

14883: Import Sites CSV File gives Click OS error

Added the Classification attribute to the Import Sites functionality. The following identifying information must be contained in the CSV file when importing sites: Parent Site Name, Site Name, Classification, Role Set, Description and Site Code.

15128: Deleted files from CVS will not get deleted from target server

Implemented a cleanup of old (deleted) data and Java files after a new version is loaded to a cluster.

15213: Load to production should be restricted to role

Loading trials to Production is restricted to only those who have the Project Manager role and are designated as the Primary or Backup PM on the trial.

15339: Friendly Error when Commit message is too long

The following friendly error is displayed in the Messages table when the Commit message exceeds the allowed length: The commit message exceeds the allowed length of 226 characters.

15340: Tester Role should have access to the Edit Architect screen

The Tester role has the ability to access the Edit Architect screen and download versions of the DataArchitect or VisualArchitect file.

15342: Version should display after file is committed

The version number of the committed file is displayed as the last line of the Messages table.

15344: Move the Load button to top of versions table

The Load button is displayed at the top of the Versions table.

15346: Add Site Template to Upload Site Feature

A CSV template for the Upload Sites feature is available for download from each cluster’s Form Summary.

15350: Old Version default selection – View Changes Screen

The “None” selection in the View Changes dropdown box defaults to the top position.

15367: Exports in testing manager does not work

The Testing Manager exports data to Excel and CSV.

15368: The sorting in Testing Manager should be by the study structure

The View Differences and the Testing Manager ‘diff/test’ elements are sorted under the following methods:

  • The template xml file determines a tree order of forms.
  • The display xml file determines a order of questions on each form.
  • All “definition.questionType” elements are ordered according to the sort order defined by template and display xml.
  • Sub elements under “definition.questionType” are ordered in a level by level way.

This means that all definitions for one question are grouped together, and all definitions for one dependency are grouped together.

15369: Paging does not work in Testing Manager

Settings and Filters are persistent through out the Testing Manager.

15484: Status column in Testing Manager should include date

The Status column in the Testing Manager displays the date. When mousing over the date, the time is displayed. Only the last tester record is displayed in the column. To view previous records (if they exist), click the small yellow up arrow.

15657: Import sites feature and template file needs to be updated for the ‘Site Code’ column

The Import Site feature and the corresponding CSV template file contain the ‘Site Code’ column used in the Listener configuration. The import template contains the following identifying information: Parent Site Name, Site Name, Classification, Role Set, Description and Site Code.

15693: Spelling errors in the Listener File Type form

Corrected the spelling on ‘Number’ and made punctuation consistent on the Listener File Type form.

Outstanding Issues

  • 9800: If one of design server is down, it still publishes da file
  • 12071: “Permission Denied” received for the site created on as-stag302 server.
  • 13544: Decompiler adds blank rows to excel
  • 15559: TM has compiler errors but still be able to check in java file
  • 15729: Click OS on site import if application id is missing
  • 15775: When tool is created on saving Setup form the default role should be assigned to the default site
  • 15779: unexpected roles, sites are added when Setup form is saved.
  • 15912: Invalid custom export Excel sheet names in DA
  • 16029: Export of Testing Manager filters incorrectly
  • 16059: xml files should be removed from Root/config folder
  • 15583: Therapeutic Area Graph cuts the color code
