Adding analytics permissions

Once Analytics has been added to your CTMS account, you will need to grant specific roles permissions to view CTMS Analytics. Follow the steps below to configure CTMS Analytics permissions.

  1. On the CTMS dashboard, select CTMS Settings in the Actions drop-down menu
  2. Select Roles, Permissions, and Entities
  3. Select the desired permission for each role

Analytics

No Access: The user will not see the Analytics option under the Reports drop-down

Read-Write: The user will have access to view the Analytics Dashboard

Analytics Configuration

No Access: The user will not have the ability to assign specific dashboard access

Read-Write: The user can assign specific dashboard access

Note: assigning specific dashboard access is done at the CTMS level


  1. Save and Release to Production. You will now see the Analytics option under the CTMS Global menu and the Study Analytics column within the study manager.

Adding Analytics Dashboard access

  1. Within the CTMS Analytics dashboard, select the dashboard you wish to grant access.
  2. Click the Actions button and choose Configure Permission.2021-11-14_2-54-38
  3. Select the roles that can view the dashboard under the Unrestricted Roles drop-down. Additionally, select the roles that cannot view the dashboards under the Restricted Roles drop-down.2021-11-14_2-56-42
  4. Save
Note: If a role has the configuration permission (Analytics Configuration set to Read-Write), the role will see all Dashboards
