  2. If you need to complete the course at a later date, click the ‘Finish Later’ button and close the browser window. The training will resume on the slide that you last visited.

Online Course Structure

Course Tree

The course tree appears in the browser prior to the course launching. If it is the first launch, the course will automatically open. For any other launch, the user must select the button to "Launch course". The course tree also displays either the word “Passed” or “In Progress” to indicate the status for each section. Many courses do not require further use of the Course Tree once the course has been selected.

Note: There is no further actions needed for the course tree. It will exist in the background during the training as a separate browser.

Course Content

The Course Content displays automatically on the first launch. The course has several areas on the screen that are interactive and meant to be used during the course.

The top, left hamburger menu will display all sections and slides within the course. Each slide is locked until all items on the slide have been 'viewed' or 'clicked'. Once slides are unlocked, any slide can be revisited in any order.

The top, right "Resources" tab includes links to Fountayn University sections and searches related to the course. Each course contains a minimum of three resource links. These links will open in a new browser window.

The tools at the bottom of the page allow the user to adjust sound volume, turn on closed captioning, adjust accessibility and replay content. The progress bar must be dragged backwards on the bar to the point of replay before selecting the replay icon. The forward and backward icons at the bottom of the screen have been disabled for the course. All forward movement happens within the buttons on the slide. All backwards or replaying can be accomplished with the hamburger menu that displays the slides in the course that have been unlocked for replay.

Search Courses

The Search feature is located at the top of the screen and can be used to search for a specific course. Courses can also be filtered with the ‘Show’ filter to see only courses you have passed or courses you have not passed. To locate a course with a course name starting with a specific letter, click the appropriate letter.
