Summary

This article describes the different interactions available for each widget on the Study Homepage.

Each widget supports its own set of interactions on the Study Homepage. This section describes the different interactions available.

Move Widgets

Many of the widgets can be moved by dragging it into the desired location. The Announcements widget and Confirm Shipment widget cannot be moved.

  1. Hover the mouse over the top of the widget until the cursor appears. 
  2. Click and drag the widget to another location on the Study Homepage.
    • As you move the widget, other widgets on the page will move aside to make room for the moving widget.
  3. When you’ve dragged the widget to the desired location, release the mouse click.
    • The widget will remain in the new location.

Resize Columns

By default the two widget columns are the same width. However, the width of these columns and the width of the widgets within the columns can be resized to take up more or less of the Study Homepage.

  1. Hover the mouse over the vertical line on the study homepage until the cursor appears.
  2. Click and drag the vertical bar left or right to resize the columns.

Remove Widgets

While widgets can be moved to the ‘Hidden’ column on the Widget Configuration page to remove them, widgets can also be quickly removed directly from the Study Homepage.

  1. Locate the delete icon (x) in the top right corner of any widget that can be removed from the  Study Homepage.


Note: Default widgets including the Announcements, Subjects, Study Documents and Confirm Shipment widgets cannot be removed.



  1. Click the delete icon.

The widget will be removed from the Study Homepage. To include the widget again, visit the Widget Configuration Page.

Export Widget Information

On the Study Homepage, a Download icon is available in the top right corner of the widget for any widget that supports export functionality. Currently only Excel exports are supported.
