Summary

This article describes how to enroll a subject in the Fountayn system.


Subjects may be enrolled into the Fountayn system either manually by the client or by Fountayn as “blank subjects” to be edited by the client. Depending on the trial configuration, one of two possible widgets, “Subject” or “Subject Status”, will be used to enroll a subject in the Fountayn system.  The process of enrolling subjects is the same regardless of the widget employed. Additionally, the term used to refer to subjects may differ according to trial configuration.

Enrollment by Client

  1. You are able to enroll a user via the Enroll button located in the Subject Widget on the study homepage or by the Actions drop down once on the Subjects Manager.

  2. Complete the initial form related to enrolling a subject.  Click the ‘Save Form’ button.
  3. Upon completion, you will be automatically directed to the new subject’s casebook.
