Summary

This article covers creating an action items report and how to export it.

Table of Contents

The Action Items Report will provide a current overview of the status of all existing site action item sets with the option to also include the status of study level action item sets. When the Action Item Report is accessed, the Select a Study screen will appear. A study must be selected to display the Action Items Report.

When a study is selected and the Next button is clicked, the Site Action Items Report for the selected study will appear.

By default, the report will include study level action items as well as action items for each site in the study. Available filters can be used to exclude Study Level Action items or select specific sites.

If Study Level Action Items are included, details will be displayed in the top table of the report, and the second table will display a row for each included site.

The first column displays ‘Study-Level Action Items’ as a hyperlink to the study level Action Item Set table (for study level action items) or the Site Name as a hyperlink to the Study Site form.

The second column contains a status indicator. This is an overall status of all action item sets at that level. If one or more action item sets are incomplete, incomplete will be displayed in the cell. If there are no action item sets, or if all action item sets are complete, complete will be displayed.

The third column, Details, contains a button that can be clicked to view more information. Clickingdetailswill reveal a secondary table displaying each action item set by name and current status. If no action item sets are configured, ‘No Results Found’ will display.

Click the hyperlinked name to navigate to the action item set, where individual action items and related data can be viewed.

Exports

By clicking the options CSV, Excel, or PDF the system will provide an export of the Action Items report.

The CSV and Excel exports contain separate files or worksheets for Study Action Items and Site Action items, but only sites with action item sets will be included. These export formats will also contain an Export Summary table to provide details of the report, such as the export requestor, their role, the study chosen, and the generation and start times of the report export.

The PDF export will include all information presented on the screen. For sites with no action item sets configured, the table will display ‘No Results Found’.
