This article covers the ability to change visibility and edit check settings for each question on the logic check and visibility form.

The Logic Check & Visibility form allows users the ability to change visibility and edit check settings for each question.

Standard Edit Checks

The Standard Edit Checks defines the alerts that will fire for each question. The options for Standard Edit Checks are:

  1. Preferred Entry – When using this setting a red alert will appear when the question is not answered. If answered, the alert will disappear. The user can save the form with the value not provided and the alert present.
  2. Required Entry – When using this setting a black alert will appear when the question is not answered. An answer value is required to save the form.
  3. No Future Date – This option only appears on Date Fields. When using this setting a red alert will appear when the date entered is a future date. 

Visibility

The Visibility defines if the question will be visible on the forms. The options for Visibility are:

  1. Visible – This is the default setting for all questions. When using this setting the question will display on the feasibility form.
  2. Hide for All – When using this setting the question will not display on new or existing forms, even if data is entered for the question on existing feasibility forms. 
  3. Hide When Unused – When using this setting the question will appear if the question exists on a form with data. The question will not appear for all newly created feasibility forms or existing forms with the question not answered.

     

Edit Checks & Visibility Settings

  1. Select the edit (Edit Icon) icon to open the Display Configuration Dialog.
  2. The Logic Checks and Visibility Options Dialog display the Standard Edit Checks and visibility settings for the selected question.
  3. Select or remove the Standard Edit Checks option for the question. Select the options from the dropdown. To unselect an answer option hit the x.


Note: If Preferred Entry and Required Entry are both selected upon saving the dialog an error will fire.  Only one option shall be selected between Preferred Entry and Required Entry option.

  1. Select the visibility option from the dropdown.
  2. Select Save to save the changed settings in the Logic Checks and Visibility Options Dialog.

Move Question Order

To move the order of questions on a form the user can click and drag a question up or down to change the location of the question on the screen.
