When changing your Fountayn password, the system will indicate its strength based on the complexity of the password. The strength indicator will update as you enter your new password.


Password Strength Levels

Unacceptable Passwords

Unacceptable passwords are labeled, “Does Not Meet Requirements.” To be accepted, the password must be 8 to 20 characters, start with a letter, include at least one number and one non-hyphen special character, and contain at least five unique characters.

Acceptable Passwords

Acceptable passwords will have a strength of Fair, Good or Strong. The strength depends on the complexity of the password which is determined based on the use of numbers, characters, casing and symbols.
