Summary

This article describes the different uses for the search feature of the enterprise.

The enterprise can be searched in its entirety or at any node level within the enterprise manager tree. While searching, lists of results are returned with 20 per page by default and can be increased to 100 if needed.

Access Search Feature

  1. Navigate within the Enterprise Manager tree to the level or node in which you want to search.
  2. In the Enterprise Manager tree, right-click on the workgroup name.
    • A pop-up menu will appear
  3. In the pop-up menu, select ‘Search.’

 

Search Users

Users can be searched by Name, Primary Address, Primary Phone, Username, Primary Email and Status.

  1. On the Search screen click the ‘Search Users’ tab.
  2. Complete at least one of the search criteria.
  3. Click the ‘Search’ button.
  4. Click on the user’s Name to view and manage the user’s details, including tool access, memberships, administrated workgroups, password and license agreement history.
Note: The amount of user details available depends on your level of access to the Enterprise Manager.

Search Workgroups

Workgroups can be searched by Name, text within the Description and alphabetically by first letter.

  1. On the Search screen click the ‘Search Workgroups’ tab.
  2. Complete at least one of the search criteria.
  3. Click the ‘Search’ button.
  4. Click on the workgroup’s name to view and manage the workgroup’s tools, administrators, members, history and account requests.
Note: The amount of user details available depends on your level of access to the Enterprise Manager.


Search Tools

Tools can be searched by Name, Application Name, managing Workgroup Name, Status, Tool Classification, existence of assigned users, Created Date, and the initial assignment date for specified role instance types. A user can also define the specific type of tool being searched.

  1. On the Search screen click the ‘Search Tools’ tab.
  2. Complete at least one of the search criteria.
Note: For the filter option for initial assignment of role instances, the “All types of” option will check the date range for the initial role instance assignment, regardless of its role instance type (in other words, the date of the first user assignment to the tool). The “Any individual type of” option will check the first user assignment for each role instance type separately.


      

  1. Click the ‘Search’ button.
  2. Click on the tool’s name to view and manage the tool’s users, including deleting, adding, unlocking and exporting users as well as requesting membership and changing passwords and roles.
Note: The amount of user details available depends on your level of access to the Enterprise Manager.

Search Invites

Invitations can be searched by Name, Email, Tool, Language, Role, Sender, Response Status, Username, Sent Date, and Withdraw Date.

  1. On the Search screen click the ‘Search Invites’ tab.
  2. Complete at least one of the search criteria.


Note: The Username field only applies when the invitation has been accepted and the user has chosen a username.


  1. Click the ‘Search’ button’
  2. Clicking on the Workgroup name in the Workgroup column will take you to that Workgroup and clicking on the username in the User column will take you to the user’s profile.
Note: No actions can be taken from this screen. To resend or withdraw invitations you must do so from the Manage Account Requests manager in the Workgroup.
