After the scheduler has finished a job, the results of the tasks are packaged into a result archive. It is possible to specify the encoding for this archive. For each workgroup, a different character encoding can be set per language for email notifications. The default encoding is UTF8. Only Job Schedulers can manage archive encodings. Job Admins can view archive encoding settings.

Access Encoding Management

  1. On the Scheduler Main Screen, hover the mouse over the green Actions Menu and select ‘Manage Encoding’.
  1. If you’re the Job Scheduler for multiple workgroups, select the workgroup for which you would like to manage encodings.

Review and Change Encodings

The Manage Encodings Screen for a workgroup displays the current encoding for each language. The Type Column specifies whether the encoding setting is Inherited from a parent workgroup or if the setting is owned by the workgroup.

  1. Click the dropdown menu in the Encoding column for each language of the email template that needs to be changed.
  2. Click the Save Button to save the settings.
